( 3 – 4hour shifts (8-12, 12-4, & 4-8pm). 1st shift volunteers should arrive by 7:30am. 3rd shift volunteers should complete around 8:30pm.

FREE HEALTH SERVICES TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF OUR
- Conversations about COVID-19
- COVID-19 vaccinations and tests
- Health screenings for asthma, allergies, COPD and more
- A chance to meet with local doctors and health providers to discuss any concerns or questions you have
We are partnering with the Allergy & Asthma Network, global pharmaceutical companies, local health professionals and community groups to offer FREE health services to our community.
- Support Alumni and College Chapters in programmatic needs
- Scholarships for primarily Collegiate Brothers
- Educational activities supporting our members and the community
- Contribute to the District programs and activities
The Alpha Illinois Foundation will allow financial freedom and keep us as a District viable. We must support each other, the fraternity, and the community.
Our District Director has announced a fundraising event The Power of Se7en. Starting on July 7th-13th for 7 days He is asking each brother to contribute a one-time donation of $7.00 towards the Alpha Illinois Foundation.

The Xi Lambda Educational Foundation (XLEF) has selected 11 outstanding graduating Seniors to be the recipients of the foundation’s scholarship this year. In an effort to support these deserving young men as they head off to college, the foundation will be providing them with mentors from the chapter. A call went out earlier for mentors and thus far the response has been outstanding. However, we still need mentors for the following scholarship winners:

We are hoping to make a mentor/mentee pair based on attributes that they may have in common (high school, college or major). If these matches do not exist, then we will match based on fit and/or need.
The foundation is asking the following of each mentor:
- Participate in a Mentoring Orientation (TBD)
- Participate in the Reception and “send off” at the House (July 24th)
- Be present for the mentee “send off” in January
- Check in with the mentee once a month during their Freshman year
- If you are interested in participating, please let me know by July 15th. I can be reached by email ([email protected]) or text (352-246-6849). If there is a particular mentee you are interested in mentoring, please indicate the name of the mentee in your message to me.

The planning is underway for our annual Bid Whist Tournament. The date is set for Saturday morning 9/4, which is the Saturday before Labor Day.
I will be accepting registration fees $25 per person/$50 per team from now up until a week before the Tournament starts.
