Alpha IL will be hosting a Mandatory Sexual Assault and Etiquette Workshop, led by Bro. Dr. D’Angelo Taylor, Indiana District Director, on Saturday, February 6th, 2021, 12:00pm – 2:00pm. We, as fraternity men, have (rightfully) been under fire for poor engagement with our female counterparts. As well as perpetuating problematic language and behaviors that have served to be counterproductive to advancing the fight for human freedom, particularly that of our Black women. As part of our continued mission to develop leaders and provide service to our community, we must ensure brothers are well versed in healthy sexual conduct to uphold our respect for womanhood. To uphold this fraternal commitment, the District of Illinois has prioritized providing this space to have vulnerable, courageous conversations with Brothers to better reeducate each other on this matter in our current context
Your attendance is required. Please ensure your chapter is present and engaged for this workshop. Failure to provide chapter representation will result in revocation of IMDP privileges for the SPR 21 cycle, no exceptions. Please see the invitation below for credentials to access the zoom call.
